InFocus Photography Show
Open Wednesday’s – Sunday’s
April 10 – April 21, 2024
Barbara Bussler is very proud that two of her original photographs have been accepted into the landscape category. All photos are on sale during the exhibit.
The InFocus Photography Competition and Exhibition was first held in 1987 and has become one of the Tuolumne County Arts Alliance’s most successful events.
The show draws both amateur and professional entries and over the years we’ve seen a steady increase in both the number of entries and the quality of the photographs accepted into the show.
InFocus offers both cash and merchandise as prizes for the winning photographs. A new category, the Excellence in Photography Award, was added a few years ago. It is named for the former resident, and nationally renowned photographer, Charles Moore.
InFocus is a program of Tuolumne County Arts (formerly the Central Sierra Arts Council), and as such, it is a non-profit exhibition.
Thanks to the show’s generous sponsor’s contributions and the show’s entry fees, InFocus is a self-sustaining event.
Location of the exhibit is the Jamestown Community Hall,
18250 Main St. Jamestown, CA 95327
April 19, 20, 21st
Location: Tuolumne City Memorial Hall
Black Bear Mosaics will be represented with a mosaic art bear at the Last Earth Event's Recycled Art Takeover exhibit for which local artists were invited to create art with upcycled or recycled materials. You have to look at the full program of this exciting audio/visual show stretching over three days.
Volunteer at Camp Tuolumne Trails on April 27
You can chose which volunteer job you are joining, one of them is helping to prepare our mosaic dragonflies for installation on the outside below wall at the camp. This job includes working with a carpet knife and fiberglass mesh, no mosaic at this stage.

Hearts in SF 2023
The San Francisco General Hospital Foundation is proud to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center this year.
I'm very honored to be amongst this years heart artists again. They come in three sizes and are on display for several weeks until they get auctioned to raise important funds for the hospital. Please see the full program and events on SFGHF's page. And please come join us and see them live - at the Ferry Building and at Neiman Marcus in San Francisco.
Come visit beautiful Filoli House and Gardens this fall. Always having been in awe of this place I'm honored to be one of the artists that weekend for their Orchard Days. New mosaic and other artisan pumpkins are in the works just for this event! General tickets/admission required to visit, please check Filoli's website.
